Find your way around

Recognise your home screen and know the first useful thing to do on it.

For anyone signing in for the first time

Every role gets the same shape: a header with your name and role, a set of tabs, and a home screen built around what you are expected to do next. On a phone the tabs sit along the bottom and you can swipe left and right between them.

  1. 1

    Store manager — report faults

Your home screen leads with “Report a problem in under 60 seconds” and a “Start Quick Log” button. That is the main thing you do here. Below it are the jobs you have logged and their plain-English status.

    You will not see prices

Quote amounts and contractor bidding are never loaded for a store manager's screen. You see what you reported, what is happening to it, who is coming and when.
  2. 2

Regional manager — work the queue

Your Today tab is a priority work queue: jobs waiting for you to send out for quotes, quotes waiting for a decision, completions waiting for review. Work top down. The other tabs — Stores, Tickets, Signoff, Snags, Suppliers, Projects — are the same work sliced differently.

  3. 3

    Contractor — check your invitations

Your Today tab shows the jobs you have been invited to quote on, jobs awaiting your evidence, and work in progress. Quotes, Signoff and Snags break the same list out; Calendar, Field Team and Performance sit under Operations.

  4. 4

    Executive — read the estate

Your dashboard ranks regions, stores and contractors worst-first, and shows how much money is sitting in quotes nobody has approved. Decisions lists what needs attention.

    Read-only on the workflow

Executives deliberately cannot approve a quote or move a job along. That authority stays with regional managers.
  5. 5

    Homeowner — log your job

Today, Jobs and Calendar. The banner on Today opens the job form. Once a job is running, the same screen carries your quotes, your visit dates and your sign-off.
